This is a wonderful pair of antique Tudor single-arm sconces, found in a home in Nashville, TN. Dating from the 1920’s, these sconces feature a hammered backplate crowned with a decorative hook and nail; the bottom is ornamented with a twisted ring flanked with pierced volute detail. A single arm extends from the lower part of the sconce to support an understated, faux-hammered candle cup with a round button at its base. These wall lamps are in excellent condition with working turn switches; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The sconces measure 12-1/2" tall, 5 ¼” wide, and protrude 4-1/4” from the wall.
