Handsome antique single-arm sconces, dating from the 1920’s, and found in a home in St Louis, MO. These Tudor sconces feature an all-over hammered texture, and are crowned with a finial composed of curling volutes. The backplate is incised with a simple geometric design of circles; a faux-riveted arm extends from the bottom of each backplate to support a candle cup with understated details. These wall lamps are in excellent condition, they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. We kept the original nonfunctioning turn switches for nostalgia’s sake; however, we will gladly replace them with new ones if desired. The sconces measure 4-5/8” wide, 9-5/8” tall, and have a projection of 4-3/4”. They would be perfect for any Spanish Revival or Tudor décor.
