Extraordinary antique brass twelve-light transitional sconce pair, originally half gas and half electric, now all wired for electricity. Dating from the late 1800s, the body of each sconce is crowned with an unusual orb and features exquisite casting below, with pierced details in the form of fleur-de-lis and rosettes. Six arms support gadrooned candle cups which hold upward facing lights, each accented with their original gas keys. The six downward facing lights extend from a fleur-de-lis fan which affixes to the lower body of the sconce . These wall lamps are in excellent condition; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. Each sconce measures 33-1/2” tall, 29-3/4” wide, and project 20-1/4" from the wall (without the bulbs.) These sconces require a custom shipping quote, please contact us if you're interested.
