Fantastic pair of antique Tudor single-arm sconces in cast bronze, dating from the 1920s. Each sconce features an unusually shaped backplate with a pierced crown and a spike bottom finial; hammered textures, faux rivets, and polychrome accents in navy and maroon ornament the backplate throughout. A radial design of fleur-de-lis and stylized foliates accents the circular center of each backplate. A scrolling bracket-style arm extends below to support a beautifully cast bobeche with an overlapping design of curved lines. These wall lamps are in excellent condition; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. Each sconce measures 4-5/8" wide, 11-1/8" tall, and projects 6-1/4" from the wall.
