A magnificent pair of antique double-arm sconces, made and marked by E.F. Caldwell, and dating from the early 1900's. Each silverplated sconce features an understated urn-shaped backplate with beveled edges and a beautifully cast foliate finial. Two arms extend from the bottom of the backplate to support two-part bobeches with simple incised detailing. These silver-plated wall lamps are in excellent condition with a beautifully aged finish; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The sconces measure 13-1/2" tall, 11" wide, and project 7-1/4" from the wall.
