A wonderful antique American stained glass window, dating from the early 1900s. The window features an elegant anthemion in it center executed in plum, amber, and light blue slag glass; the Neoclassical motif is set against an amber granite glass background. A dual border of plum and light blue rectangular panes frame the design. The glass is in very good antique condition with a few small hairlines cracks (as pictured,) and the frame is also in very good condition with an aged, painted finish and the usual wear to the glazing as shown. The window measures 28” wide, 36-1/2” tall, with a frame 1-3/8” thick, and the glass measures 24” wide and 31-7/8” tall.
