A gorgeous arched antique American stained glass window featuring a shield design, and dating from the late 19th century. This half-moon window is composed of a background of clear granite glass, surrounded by a frame of ripple glass and lavender triangles. The understated motif features a shield flanked by ribbons at its center; the design is composed of green, lavender, and sky blue slag glass. The frame has beautifully carved details at the corners in the form of a stylized starbursts. This window is in very good antique condition with three small cracked panes (as pictured;) the frame has been painted white on both sides and has a deep crack running through its left corner (as pictured.) The window frame measures 52-5/8" wide by 23-3/4" tall, with a frame 1-3/4" thick; the glass measures 46-1/2" wide by 19-1/2" tall.
