A gorgeous arched antique American stained glass window featuring a shield design, and dating from the early 1900s. This half-moon window is composed of a background of clear ripple and granite glass, surrounded by a frame of amber ripple glass. The understated motif features a shield at its center; the shield is composed of green, amber, and purple slag glass. Stylized floral buds flank the shield and are made of pink and green slag glass. This window is in very good antique condition with a small chip and crack running through the purple slag glass oval in the middle of the shield; the frames have been stained brown on one side and painted green on the other. The window frame measures 64-1/4" wide by 26" tall, with a frame 1-1/2" thick; the glass measures 59" wide by 21-3/4" tall.
