A fabulous boxed newel post dating from the late 1800s and salvaged from a home in Lancaster, PA. The box newel is crowned with a substantial ball finial; its tapered body features beautifully carved details in the form of roundels and grooved lines. The newel is in good antique condition with the typical wear. It measures approx. 6-3/4” wide and 61-3/8” tall.
