An amazing and substantial cast bronze lion door knocker found in a home in Los Angeles, CA, and dating from the early 1900’s. The door knocker retains its original, fabulously verdigrised patina, and features a finely cast lion head gripping the knocker. The lion is thought to signify strength, pride, protection, and power. The door knocker measures 7-5/8” wide, 11-3/8” tall, and projects 3-3/4”.
