Antique Eastlake cast bronze 4" hinge with steeple finials, c.1869, by the Metallic Compression Casting Co. (later to become Russell and Erwin in 1871.) Intended to be used as a right-hand hinge, this Eastlake hinge features an understated design of bundled foliates and flowers, with beaded steeple finials. The lift-off hinge has a small chip at the top of its inner right-hand side as pictured. The bronze hinge measures 4-1/8" wide, 4" tall, and 6-5/16" tall overall (from finial to finial). Please note that cast bronze hinges are not recommended for heavy doors.
