An incredible antique fireplace mantel, salvaged out of a house in York, PA and dating from the early 1900's. This old mantel features baluster-style legs that curve elegantly outward and tapers back down to a square base on either side of the firebox opening; each side supports the mantel shelf above. The mantel is in very good antique condition with the wear typical of an old fireplace surround. It measures 75-1/2” wide by 58” tall with a 9-3/8" projection; the firebox opening is 53-1/2” wide and 43” tall.
