A stunning antique tiger oak fireplace mantel, dating from the early 1900's and reclaimed from a home in Nashville, TN. This mantel begins with a top shelf bordered with bead-and-barrel trim with swagged carved bellflowers below. The upper shelf is supported by two ionic fluted columns with stylized capitals which run to the lower shelf below. A beveled mirror framed with bead-and-barrel trim perches above the mantle's lower shelf. This fireplace mantel is in very good condition with the expected wear and one wreath missing in the top right-hand corner (as pictured.) It measures 59-3/4” wide, 85-1/4” tall, and projects 13”.
