A fabulous antique mantel, dating from the 1890s, and salvaged from a home in Philadelphia, PA. The mantel is crowned with a simple shelf supported by incredible figural brackets; the brackets feature a woman’s face surrounded by ribbons and flowers. The mantel is in very good condition with the expected wear including chips, scatches, and cracks (as pictured.) The mantel measures 48-1/4” wide, 50-3/4" tall and 9" deep, and has a firebox opening measuring 29-3/4" wide and 37-3/8" tall.
