A handsome antique Arts & Crafts fireplace mantel, dating from the 1920s, and salvaged from a home in York, PA. The understated mantel is crowned with a beveled mantel shelf lined with substantial dentil trim. The mantle legs below are crowned with an elegant volute, descending in a streamlined, pilaster-style base. The oak fireplace mantel is in very good condition with the expected wear including chips and scratches and a stained finish; the back corners of the mantel shelf have been cut at an angle (as pictured.) The mantel measures 66” wide, 60” tall, and 11-1/2” deep; the firebox opening is 45” wide and 44-3/4” tall. This piece requires a custom shipping quote, please contact us if you’re interested.
