A charming antique fireplace mantel, dating from the mid 1800s, and salvaged from a home in York, PA. The mantle's face features fluted lines, beveled details, an a convex center band. The mantle shelf above is supported by slender, columnar legs topped with boxed sections ornamented with convex rondelles. The mantel is in very good condition with the expected wear and a beautifully aged patina. It measures 68" wide, 58-5/8" tall and 8-3/4" deep; the firebox opening measures approximately 44-7/8" wide and 40-1/8" tall.
