A fabulous antique Art Nouveau entry door hardware set in bronze, made and signed by Russell and Erwin, and dating from 1891. The doorknobs feature an eightfold design of radiating and sinuous lines accented with beading. The plates measure 9" tall and 2-1/2"wide, the larger doorknob is 2-1/2” in diameter and 2-3/8" deep; the smaller doorknob is 2-1/4” in diameter and 2-1/4” deep. The lock has a 2-3/4" backset and its faceplate measures is 8-1/4” by 1-1/4"; the body measures 3-1/2" wide ad 5-7/8" tall.
