An incredible antique five-light chandelier with its original sit-in or “pudding-bowl” shades, made by Gill Glass & Fixture Company and dating from the 1920’s. Salvaged out of a home in Pennsylvania and part of the “Marquette” line, this chandelier begins with a decorative canopy that comes down in chain to a large cutout finial piece below. Five cast iron arms extend from the bottom of the body to support an unusual sit-in vaseline glass shade with stylized shield details. This light fixture is in excellent condition with fantastic polychrome detailing, and the shades are in good antique condition with the expected fleabites around the rims. The chandelier has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The- light/ fixture measures 18-1/2” wide, 16-1/2” tall (body only), and 32-1/2” long overall.
