A fantastic antique lantern in its original japanned or copper-flashed finish, dating from the 1920's. This pendant light begins with an understated canopy, coming down in a chain to a simple loop finial which affixes to the roof of the fixture. The lantern roof slopes down to meet the fixture's hexagonal framework; the framework features six panels of beautiful amber granite glass, separated by copper-flashed bands. This pendant is in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks to the glass, just the expected fleabites around the edges. It has been professionally rewired and comes with all necessary attachments for modern installation. The lantern measures 6-3/4” wide, 9-1/2” tall, and 20-1/2” overall.
