An amazing antique five-light Spanish Revival chandelier with shield details, dating from the 1920’s, and found in a home in Charleston, South Carolina. This iron chandelier begins with a curling loop finial; below, a cluster of five curled iron bands descend to form the chandelier body and extend outwards to become the chandelier arms. The bands are connected by cast iron crests, each surrounded by volute detail and topped with a crown. Each arm supports a crenellated bobeche with roped detailing. The chandelier finishes in a dangling finial featuring a crest. This light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 20" wide and 23" tall, and the fixture is 42" long overall.
