A delightful antique five-light chandelier from the 1920’s, in its original silver plate finish over brass, and found in a home in Asheville, NC. The chandelier begins with a palmette bordered canopy, coming down in chain to meet a volute loop finial; the finial perches above a petite leafy platform atop an urn-shaped porcelain baluster in a reach mustard colored hue. Five graceful flower and ribbon detailed arms extend from below the baluster to support foliate accented bobeches hung with sparkling icicle prisms. The fixture is finished in a faceted crystal ball prism. This chandelier is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 21” wide and 18-1/4” tall, and the overall length of the chandelier is 34”.
