A charming antique five-light chandelier from the early 1900’s in its original silver plate finish over brass, and found in a home in Asheville, NC. The chandelier begins with a foliate bordered canopy, coming down in chain to meet a loop finial; the finial perches above a petite leafy platform atop an urn-shaped porcelain baluster in a beautiful opalescent lavender hue. Five graceful arms extend from below the baluster to support downward facing bobeches hung with curtains of sparkling icicle prisms topped with lavender beads. The fixture is finished in a smooth ball prism topped with delicate, lavender colored, floret. This chandelier is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 24-1/4” wide and 20-3/8” tall, and the overall length of the chandelier is 36-1/4”.
