A charming vintage flush mount light fixture with an unusual glass shade, dating from the 1940s, and found in a home in Springfield, IL. The fixture features a sleek porcelain fitter that affixes to the original glass shade. The shade features a ribbed top with a band of stripes around its perimeter; its underside has tiered concentric circles. Painted fruit embellishes the shade. This flush mount is in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks to the glass, just the expected fleabites around the edge. It has been professionally rewired and come with all necessary attachments for modern installation. The light measures 8-1/4” wide by 10-1/2" tall.
