Magnificent antique eight-light chandeliers, originally half gas and half electric, and now completely wired for electricity. Dating from the late 19th Century, these large chandeliers retain their original, wonderfully aged, japanned or copper flashed finish and were found in a home in Paducah, KY. Each chandelier begins with a sleek canopy, coming down in a smooth rod to an urn topped spherical chandelier body. Four s-shaped arms with their original simple loop gas keys extend out from the sphere to support acid-etched shades with fleur-de-lis and foliates. Four downward facing arms support smaller acid-etched shades with complementary design. These light fixtures are in excellent condition. The shades are also in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks. The chandeliers have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. Each chandelier measures 33-3/4” wide and 49-3/4” long overall. The pieces require custom shipping quotes; please contact us if you're interested. THE PRICE LISTED IS FOR EACH FIXTURE.
