A fabulous antique six-light Neoclassical chandelier, dating from the early 1900s, and found in a home in Nashville, TN. The chandelier begins with a foliate and volute bordered canopy, coming down in chain to a shield-shaped finial adorned with foliates. A cluster of six beautifully cast and flower embellished bands descend below to form the bulbous chandelier body. Downward facing bobeches with ribbon detailing extend from the perimeter of the chandelier body, each holding an exposed bulb. This light fixture is in excellent condition. It has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 19-3/8" wide and 24-1/2" tall, and the fixture is 34-1/2" long overall.
