An incredible antique Art Deco pendant light, dating from the early 1900’s and found in a home in Chicago, IL. The fixture begins with a dogtooth bordered canopy accented with geometric details, descending in a short rod and chain to meet the streamlined body below. The chandelier is crowned with a band ornamented with incised, dogtooth detail; frosted glass panels extend from the band to form the first tier of the fixture. The second and third tiers suspend from chains within the fixture; both emulating the scalloped and angular lines of the first tier. The chandelier and the glass are in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The pendant measures 17-1/8” wide, 21-1/4” tall (body only), and 37” long overall. This piece requires a custom shipping quote, please contact us if you’re interested.
