A fabulous antique Art Deco five-light chandelier, dating from the early 1900’s, with its original sit-in or “pudding-bowl” shades. The chandelier begins with a gadrooned canopy, coming down to a domed platform atop a reeded rod; the rod runs down the center of the fixture and perches within a complementary bowl. Five arms extend from the bowl, each ending in a simple shade holder; each shade holder support an unusual pudding bowl shade with a pearlescent finish and a band of ribbed detail in a peach hue. Volutes extend from the perimeter of the center of the fixture to hold sparkling “icicle” prisms. This light fixture is in very good condition, and the shades are in good antique condition with the expected fleabites around the rims. The chandelier has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The light fixture measures 18-3/8” wide and 16” tall.
