A magnificent antique four-light inverted dome chandelier with its gorgeous and original plaster body, dating from the early 1900s. The two-tone fixture begins with an understated brass canopy, descending in chain to meet a substantial loop finial atop a four pronged platform. Four chains with decorative brass baubles descend from each prong to hold the circular body below. The beautifully cast, plaster body features an understated Neoclassical motif painted in cream and gold tones; the fixture’s milk glass shade nests within the plaster ring. The fixture finishes in a stylized pinecone final executed in plaster. This light fixture is in excellent condition with a small hairline crack in one of the brass baubles (as pictured,) and the glass is also in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks, just the expected fleabites around the rims (as pictured). The chandelier has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The fixture measures 25" wide, 52-1/2” tall from the loop finial to the bottom of the fixture and 68-1/2" tall overall.
