A beautiful antique Neoclassical five-tier “wedding cake” chandelier, dating from the early 1900’s, and made by O.W. Manufacturing of New York. This three-light chandelier begins with a floral canopy, descending in a short rod and chain to meet a volute-embellished loop finial. The finial perches above a beautifully cast band ornamented with foliate swags, palmettes, volutes, and oval pateras; four curling arms extend from the perimeter of the band to hold gorgeous pendalogue prisms. Suspended below are five tiers of sparkling “icicle” prisms, finished in a faceted glass ball. This light fixture is in very good condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body is 19-1/4" wide and 27-1/4” tall; the fixture is 43-1/4” long overall.
