An amazing antique five-light Spanish Revival chandelier with shield details, dating from the early 1900’s, and found in a home in Atlanta, GA. The two-tone chandelier begins with a leaf-embellished canopy, descending in a short rod and chain to meet a multi-volute loop finial. Below, a cluster of five beautifully cast bands descend to form the open body and to affix to a lower ring; the bands are ornamented with crests, volutes, foliates, and twisted and hammered textures. The ring-style lower body is adorned with stylized leaves, scrolling volutes, and roped detail; the fixture’s five lights extend from the perimeter of the ring and feature complementary detailing. The fixture finishes in dangling foliate and berry finial. This light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 19" wide and 23" tall, and the fixture is 38-1/2" long overall. There is a matching pair of sconces unavailable under #NSP1271-RW.
