A fabulous antique Neoclassical pendant light, dating from the early 1900s, and found in a home in Lexington, KY. The fixture begins with an intricately cast, octagonal canopy, coming down in a short, reeded rod and chain to meet the loop finial below. The finial nests within a pierced bowl with bellflower details and a fan-like design. The domed, octagonal shade below features a whimsical and open fretwork with flowing floral detailing; slag glass panels in amber and light green back the fretwork and produce a warm glow when the fixture is lit. The pendant has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The antique lighting piece measures 24" in diameter and 37” tall overall; the shade itself measures 15-1/4” tall. This piece requires a custom shipping quote, please contact us if you're interested.
