A charming antique Neoclassical chandelier, found in a home in Indianapolis, IN, and dating from the 1920s. The chandelier begins with an understated canopy accented with a band of pansy and foliate detail, descending in chain to meet a loop finial atop a leafy platform. A cluster of three bands descend below the platform to affix to a wide ring; each band is crowned with a leafy flourish. Three volute style arms extend from the ring to hold simple downward facing bobeches; each bobeche supports a frosted shade with wheel cut foliate details. This light fixture is in very good condition and the shades are also in good condition with no cracks or breaks, just the expected fleabites around the rims. The chandelier has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 18" wide, 21” tall, and 41-1/2" tall.
