A striking antique five-light Spanish Revival chandelier with shield details, dating from the early 1900’s. This iron chandelier begins with a curving loop finial; below, a cluster of five curled iron bands descend to form the chandelier body and extend outwards to become the chandelier arms. The bands are connected by a pierced and hammered ring ornamented with crests; each crest features polychrome accents in red and blue. The arms extend to support wax-pan style bobeches adorned with twisted detail and stylized volutes. The chandelier finishes in a complementary finial with volute detail. The light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 20-1/2" wide and 20-1/2" tall, and the fixture is 40" long overall.
