A lovely antique inverted dome chandelier, dating from the early 1900s, and found in a home in Lexington, KY. This chandelier begins with an understated canopy, descend in a short rod finished in three hooks. Chains descend from each hook to support the domed shade below with petite florets. The shade features an understated radial design crowned with a band of stylized flowers and leaves; the floral motif is accented with terra-cotta hued highlights. This light fixture is in very good condition with some minor chips, scratches, and wear along the rim which do not detract from its beauty; there are cracks behind two of the three florets surrounding the fixture (as pictured.) It has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The fixture is approximately 17-3/4" wide, 7" tall, and 31-1/2" long overall.
