A delightful antique five light chandelier, dating from the early 1900's, and found in a home in Indianapolis, IN. The semi-flush mount chandelier begins with a foliate embellished canopy with a scalloped border; a rod extends below to meet the open chandelier body. A cluster of five bands descend below the rod to form the chandelier body which is ornamented with oval pateras, wave scroll, stylized foliates, and a seeded texture. Five arms extend from the perimeter of the bowl-shaped lower body to support gadrooned bobeches with volute borders. This light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 19" wide and 23” tall.
