A marvelous antique Art Deco six-light slip shade chandelier dating from the early 1900's, and attributed to Markel Electric Products. The fixture begins with a fleur-de-lis embellished canopy, coming down in chain to an angular finial; the finial perches within a skyscraper-bordered bowl. Below, the fixture features streamlined details with arching lines, stylized volutes and a textural background. Five peach-hued slip shades surround the perimeter of the fixture, each featuring scalloped edges and beautiful linear details; a single light rests within each shade. The body finishes in a complementary bottom shade hung with a pointed finial; a single light nests within the shade. This light fixture is in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks to the glass, just the expected fleabites and small chips around the rims. The chandelier has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. This chandelier is approximately 18-1/4” wide, 7" tall and 32" long overall.
