Elegant antique Colonial Revival chandelier with its original hand-cut shades, dating from the early 1900s. This fixture begins with an understated canopy, coming down in a rod finished with four hooks; four chains suspend from the hooks to support the chandelier body below. The body is comprised of a thick brass ring; the ring holds a large, frosted bottom shade with a beautiful wheel cut starburst design. Four curved arms extend from the perimeter of the body and are hung with a simple shade holder; the shade holders affix to frosted globes with unusual, handcut stars surrounded with diagonal bursts. This chandelier is in excellent condition with one crack to a single globe as pictured, and the expected fleabites around the edges. The fixture has been professionally rewired and comes with all necessary attachments for modern installation. It measures 19" wide, 13" tall, and 37" overall.
