An elegant antique five-light chandelier, c. 1910, in its original silver plate finish. The chandelier begins with a foliate bordered canopy, coming down in chain to meet a volute loop finial; the finial perches above a platform with stylized leaf detailing. A cluster of five curled bands extend below the platform; the bands affix to S-shaped rods which form the chandelier body and extends outward in chandelier arms. The arms descend to support downward-facing bobeches hung with a curtain of sparkling "icicle" prisms. Arcing "stems" perch within the center of the fixture and are hung with complementary prisms. The fixture is finished in a beautifully cast pinecone finial. This chandelier is in very good condition with a couple a minor crack in the chandelier body (as pictured.) It has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 19” wide and 23-1/4” tall, and the overall length of the chandelier is 38-1/2”.
