A marvelous antique five-light iron chandelier, dating from the 1920’s, and found in a home in Chattanooga, TN. The chandelier begins with a loop finial atop a cluster of five wrought iron bands which form the chandelier body and flare out to become the arms; each chandelier arm extends and curls to support a foliate bobeche. A twisted rod runs down the center of the chandelier, which is encircled with a crown composed of volutes and foliate medallions; finishing in a leafy bud. This light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 16-1/4” wide and 18-1/2” tall, and the fixture is 38” long overall.
