A gorgeous antique four light chandelier, dating from the early 1900's, and found in a home in Lexington, KY. The chandelier begins with an intricately ornamented canopy, tapering to finish in an acorn finial; four chains descend from its perimeter. The chains affix to the disc-shaped lower body which is beautifully cast with a radial design of gothic arches, quatrefoils and lush foliates. The frosted, globular shades suspend from chain below the body; each is acid-etched with a leafy and stylized floral design. The light fixture is in very good condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The glass shades are in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks, just the expected flea bites around the rims. The chandelier measures 18" in diameter and 33" tall.
