A handsome antique five-light Spanish Revival chandelier, dating from the early 1900’s, and retaining its original polychrome finish. This brass chandelier begins with a decorative loop finial with a crest in its center; below, a cluster of beautifully cast bands descend to form the chandelier body and meet the hammered body below; the bands are ornamented with oval shields highlighted with polychrome accents in turquoise, yellow, and red. Five arms are interspersed between each band and ascend to support bobeches with complementary crest finials. The chandelier finishes in a dangling finial featuring a shield enveloped in foliates. This light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 17" wide and 22" tall, and the fixture is 34-3/8" long overall.
