A wonderful antique five-light chandelier, dating from the early 1900s and featuring its original polychrome finish. The chandelier begins with an oversized finial ornamented with volutes and foliates. The bowl-shaped fixture suspends below and features hammered textures, roped borders, and an underside ornamented with a stylized design of foliates and volutes. Hammered, downward facing bobeches affix to the perimeter of the body to hold the fixture's five lights. The fixture features remnants of its original red and green polychrome accents and finishes in a dangling foliate finial. This light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 16-1/4" wide, 15-1/2" tall, and the fixture is 30-1/4" long overall.
