A striking antique Arts & Crafts copper lantern with its original verdigrised finish, dating from the late 1800's. This semi-flush light begins with a pie-crust edged canopy which affixes to a simple loop finial; each side of the finial descends to affix to the fixture's conical roof. The cylindrical lantern features a minimal framework; tucked behind the framework are several, slender acid-etched panels which comprise the lantern's shade. The bottom of the shade features a complementary pie crust edged bottom; the bottom is open, allowing the light to diffuse freely. This light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. This light fixture canopy measures 9" in diameter, and its body measures 8" in diameter and approx. 19-1/2” tall.
