A wonderful antique five-light chandelier, dating from the early 1900s and featuring its original polychrome finish. The chandelier begins with a foliate embellished canopy, coming down in a chain to an oversized finial ornamented with volutes and foliates. The bowl-shaped fixture features a seeded and hammered textures and an underside ornamented with a stylized design of foliates and volutes. Five arms extend from the perimeter of the body to hold candelabra style lights. The fixture features red and aqua polychrome accents throughout and finishes in a dangling foliate finial. This light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 16-3/4" wide, 16-1/4" tall, and the fixture is 34-1/2" long overall.
