This is a wonderful antique brass Arts & Crafts chandelier dating from the early 1900s - originally gas, and now wired for electricity. The chandelier begins with a pyramidal canopy coming down in a rod to a rectangular body with a spike finial. Square arms extend from either side of the chandelier body; each one supporting a frosted, octagonal shade and finished with an original gas key. This light fixture is in very good condition and the shades are also in good condition with no cracks or breaks, just the expected fleabites around the rims; one of the shades has additional chips around its rim (as pictured.) The chandelier has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 24" wide and 27-3/4" tall. There is a coordinating fixture available under #NC2288-RW.
