A wonderful antique brass six-light chandelier, dating from the late 19th century, with its original shades. The fixture begins with an understated canopy, coming down in a rod to affix to the chandelier body below. Six slender arms extend from the orb-like chandelier body to hold three simple wax pans and three sheffield-style shades. The fixture finishes in a gadrooned finial. This light fixture is in excellent condition and the glass is also in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks, just the expected fleabites around the rims. The chandelier has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 19” wide and 40” long overall.
