A stunning antique six-light chandelier by the renowned New York maker, E.F. Caldwell, featuring the unsurpassed quality and superb casting characteristic of Caldwell. Dating from the early 1900's, the silver plated chandelier begins with a leafy canopy, coming down in a chain to meet the understated loop finial below. The chandelier's substantial upper body begins with three cherubic figures, whose bodies are made up of gorgeous floral and volute details. Six curling arms extend from the urn-shaped lower body of the chandelier, each supporting a leafy two-part bobeche. The fixture finishes in a pinecone finial. This light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 22-3/4" wide, 21-3/4" tall, and the fixture is 40-3/4" long overall.
