Stunning antique three-light cast bronze chandelier dating from the late 19th century and found in a church in Philadelphia, PA. This light fixture begins with a foliate bordered canopy, coming down in a chain to a pierced bronze bowl. Three decorative chains descend from the bowl to affix to the urn-shaped body below; the body is intricately ornamented with scrolling volutes, acanthus leaves, stylized foliates, and roping. A single light perches at the top of the urn and is shrouded with a gorgeous, frosted flame-style shade. The chandelier finishes in an understated loop finial. This light fixture is in very good antique condition with a beautifully aged finish; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures approximately 19" wide, 41" tall and 56-1/2" tall overall.
