A fantastic antique five-light chandelier, dating from the early 1900s and featuring its original polychrome finish. The chandelier begins with an understated canopy, coming down in a chain to an oversized and abstract finial accented with petite florets. The bowl-shaped fixture features an underside ornamented with stylized foliates against a background of seeded texture. Five arms arch from the bottom of chandelier body to support bobeches with gadrooned bottom finials. The fixture is highlighted with red and green polychrome accents throughout. This light fixture is in excellent condition. It has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 16" wide and 17" tall, and the fixture is 35" long overall.
