A stunning antique five light chandelier featuring its original silver-plate over pewter finish, dating to 1910. This chandelier begins with intricately cast canopy, coming down in a chain to a decorative loop finial. The urn-shaped upper body affixes to a wide ornamental ring which supports the domed glass shade beneath; four understated wax pans perch around the perimeter of the ring and are hung with teardrop prisms. The gorgeous amber slag shade below is cradled by four bands which are embellished with bellflowers, volutes and foliates; a tassel finial suspends from its center. This light fixture is in very good condition and the glass is also in very good condition with the expected flea bites around the edges. The chandelier has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. This chandelier is 18-3/4” wide, 21-1/4" tall and the overall length is 38-1/2”.
